This year we’re offering Bud’s Run supporters a new and exciting challenge. Join us on Saturday 19 May to tackle Yorkshire’s striking peaks: Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough.
Walk, ramble or run the Three Peaks in aid of Parkinson’s UK
The Yorkshire Three Peaks includes, Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough and the challenge will start from Horton-in-Ribblesdale. The Yorkshire three peaks are located in a triangle, with the River Ribble and two minor B roads between them with a total walking distance of 39.2km (24.5 miles). This one’s for early risers starting between 06:00 and 07.30 with an average completion time of 10 -12 hours for walkers. There is also the option of running for the fell runners out there!

We’re thrilled to be partnering with Carnegie Great Outdoors to deliver this event. Carnegie Great Outdoors is a leading provider of outdoor adventure activities, with more than 10 years’ experience working with groups across the UK and overseas to improve health and wellbeing, promote active lifestyles and create fun and memorable experiences. Carnegie Great Outdoors instructors have Mountain Leader qualifications and are highly experienced in leading groups on events like these.

Each group of 10 will be allocated their own qualified instructor. Who do you know who could join you on the challenge? Why not make it a day to remember?
